Scientific Presentations

Each paper will be allotted 8 minutes. Should the presentation be shorter than 8 minutes, the remaining allotted time will be dedicated to discussion concerning the single presentation. A general discussion will be held at the end of each Session.

Registration Fee

Participation in the Course requires registration that can be entered through the enclosed Registration Form. Please fill it in and send by post, fax or e-mail to the Milan Secretariat. The Registration Form can also be downloaded at the webpage: www.unimib.org clicking on IVEC and opening the Registration Form.

- Euro 600.00 (VAT included) – 10% additional cost for registrations entered after the 30th      September 2011.
There will be free registration for Trainees in Cardiology, Radiology, Cardiac and Vascular Surgery (a letter from the Directors of the Training Programmes is required). Members of the International Society for Vascular Surgery (ISVS) will be granted a 20% discount.

The registration fee includes:
  • Admission to the three-day IVEC/ISVS Congress.
  • Participation in the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception in the evening of Thursday 27th October 2011.
  • Coffee-breaks and lunches for the three days of the Congress.
  • Certificate of Attendance and Accreditation.

Accreditation



The Council for Continuing Medical Education has granted 15 European CME Credits.


The Italian ECM has granted 15 credits.

Participants will be expected to attend 100% of the teaching hours, in compliance with the request of the Italian CME rules.
In order to receive certification participants must sign an attendance sheet at the beginning and end of each morning and afternoon session.

Format and Scientific Content of the IVEC/ISVS 2011

The IVEC is particularly designed for physicians who are training or who have already completed their training programme in Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology or Cardiology, Vascular Medicine or for Cardiovascular Technologists.
The scientific programme includes Live Case Reviews, Round Table Discussions, Workshops, Presentations from Industry, Debates and Lectures on the most recent experimental and clinical investigations, basic researches and medical experiences from leading experts worldwide.
